Hospital Visitors
To provide clinical pastoral care, emotional support, and spiritual presence
as Christ’s representatives to the sick. Visit all hospitalized
parishioners of the St. Joseph’s family
Activities: Care for the sick, their families and friends and health care
providers
Prayer for all hospitalized Episcopalians
Minister to those outside our community of faith
Schedule visits to area hospitals and health care facilities
Unscheduled visits upon request
Visits are generally fifteen minutes

Blessing
of the Animals
An
annual service to glorify God and his creatures. One of the largest outreach
activities of the parish serves to extend this opportunity to the community.
Activities: To organize volunteers in registering, printing certificates,
ensure parking, coordinate visiting animals and beneficiary, publicity

United
Thank Offering Coordinator
A national program of the Episcopal church
for the mission of the whole church founded by and administered by women
since 1869.To award grant monies within the framework of the policies
and procedures of the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society.
Activities: The United Thank Offering Committee is entrusted to promote
thank offerings, to receive the offerings, and distribute the offering
monies through grants. The Episcopal Church Women at St. Joseph’s
sponsors the annual United Thank Offering in-gathering in concert with
the Diocese of Southeast Florida.
The Chairperson coordinates the annual in-gathering. She is responsible
for notifying parishioners by letter, sending UTO envelopes, as well as
securing the thank offering boxes for distribution. In keeping with the
purpose and goal of the UTO to count one’s blessings everyday, small
boxes are made available to all members of the Parish. Following the UTO
In-gathering Sunday, a check is sent for the amount collected to the UTO
coordinator.
Service times: In-gathering weekend once a year. Arrange for collection
of monies at all services.

Flower
Guild
Ministry
to provide altar flowers on a year round basis. Perform weekly deliveries
to remind our sick, shut in or members celebrating special events that
our thoughts and prayers are with them, utilizing the flowers that decorate
the altar.
