First of all…… Relax! Welcome to the community of Saint Joseph’s Episcopal Church! The clergy and congregation of Saint Joseph’s welcome you to our parish. We are truly pleased that you are interested in worshiping with us. lf you are seeking a church just for today, or searching for a spiritual home, we wish to respond in whatever way we can to help you on your journey.

Upon entering the church before Mass, (see schedule below) you will be welcomed by one of our greeters, who will give you our bulletin. Everything you need to participate in Mass (all readings and hymns) is now in your hands. We invite visitors to sign our guest book in the Narthex (entrance hall) or please fill in the contact sheet received in your Welcome Bag and place in the collection plate at the Offertory. In addition to the order of the service to guide you, you will also find a wealth of information about activities and events at Saint Joseph’s in the coming days and weeks. Please do not hesitate to ask someone if you have a question or need help. We want you to feel at home!

The restroom facilities are located in the Narthex as you enter the church, and also at the back of Van Rooyen Parish Hall (the building to the right of the church). For those individuals who require listening assistance, Saint Joseph’s Church offers specially designed hearing devices. These devices are available through one of our ushers.

Children are welcome at Saint Joseph’s, whether attending church with their families, Sunday School with their friends, or enjoying childcare in our nursery. Sunday School classes and the Nursery Room are located on the southwest side of our property. At both 9:30am and 11:45am Worship Services, children are brought back into our worship before Eucharist.

You are cordially invited to join us for refreshments at Coffee Hour in Van Rooyen Hall, which is our parish hall to the north of the church, immediately following the 9:30 a.m. worship service. Should you have any additional questions or would like more information about Saint Joseph’s and our family, please ask one of our many greeters or ushers or call the church office at 561-732-3060 at any time. You can email us at info@stjoesweb.org. We are glad that you are here!

If you are seeking a new Church home, either as an Episcopalian or as someone interested in entering the Episcopal Church, we hope that you will give us the opportunity to speak with you in your home or at one of our many services. The Church Office is open Monday thru Friday—8:00 am to 3:00 pm. We are available to answer any questions you might have.

If you have decided you wish to become a member of Saint Joseph’s and you are already a Confirmed Communicant of the Episcopal Church, we can assist you in requesting a Letter of transfer from your former Parish.

If you are not a member of any other Church and have decided that Saint Joseph’s is where you want to be, there are membership forms that are available through the Church Office. Simply fill them in and return to the Office.

If you wish to become a pledging member of Saint Joseph’s Church, there are pledge cards located in the back of the Church (Narthex) or in the Parish Office. What does it mean to become a pledging member? A pledging member is when you have decided to make a financial commitment to support Saint Joseph’s Church and the various ministries that are offered here. When you become a pledging member, you are able to participate in the election of vestry members at the annual meeting.

If at any time you wish to speak with the Rector, just call the Church Office at (561) 732-3060 between the hours of 8:00 am to 3:00 pm—Monday thru Thursday. If he is unavailable when you call, his assistant will make sure that he receives your message, and will call back at the earliest convenience.

If you wish to join one of our various ministries, the back of the bulletin has the names of all our ministry leaders and which ministry they lead. Should you wish to contact any of them, there is a Parish Directory available with everyone’s phone number and address.

The Office staff and Fr. Marty Zlatic, Rector of Saint Joseph’s Church, are always available. Please feel free to contact us at (561) 732-3060. We look forward to serving you.
